Creamy Mac and Cheese
A comforting, creamy mac and cheese that's always a family hit
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- Optional: breadcrumb topping
Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray
Add uncooked macaroni to slow cooker
Mix in both types of cheese
Combine milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and seasonings
Pour over macaroni and cheese mixture
Add butter in small pieces on top
Cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring once halfway
Let stand 10 minutes before serving
